Capitol Reef National Park, Utah

Sunday, 1. October 2023

We drove many times through the Capitol Reef National Park in Utah, but never stopped to explore it. What a shame! It’s a stunning area, so finally we decided to stay there for a week and boondocked just outside of Torrey and a few miles from the west entrance of the national park.
And a week was not enough! We didn’t have enough time to go to Cathedral Valley, which is in the northern part of the park and we missed also the scenic drive on the Notom Rd and the Burr Trail switchbacks in the south. Well, and historic Fruita is also a gem - we loved the orchards and that you can pick fruits when they are open. So we will be back for sure!
