Picacho Peak State Park, Arizona

Recently, we spent a day at Picacho Peak State Park, located between Phoenix and Tucson in Arizona. Nestled in a typical Sonoran Desert landscape, there was something very special to see this time: thanks to the abundant winter rains, wildflowers were blooming everywhere in vibrant colors. Along with the saguaro cacti, other bizarre desert plants, and the impressive mountain backdrop, it was a fantastic scenery.
