Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument (Part 2), Arizona

Alamo Canyon in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is another beautiful area and great for hiking and bird watching. The wash through the canyon splits into three branches and we had a good time exploring each of them. Especially the north branch provided some nice photo opportunities while we spent time there in the late afternoon. And there were still some pools in the rocks filled with rainwater and the birds were busy catching insects.
